About Me

I am Tan Chau, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from George Mason University with an aerospace concentration. I enjoy hands-on engineering where design meets fabrication. Currently working as a Makerspace Associate at the Mason Innovation Exchange (MIX) Fabrication Lab since September 2024, I have extensive experience taking projects from CAD to manufacturing using CNC machining, laser cutting, and 3D printing. I often integrate electronics and IoT when projects need sensing or control, and I'm passionate about teaching others through workshops and documentation.
